Anaesthesia: complications and consequences of residual paralysis course overview
This Asklepios CME course is module 1 in a three-stage learning activity designed for anaesthetists, anaesthetic nurses and GP anaesthetists to update their knowledge of anaesthesia. It is a self-directed learning activity. This module of the CME activity highlights the clinical consequences of postoperative residual paralysis in anaesthetic practice and is your opportunity to revise your knowledge of neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBAs) used in anaesthetic practice, and update your best practice management skills in the areas of postoperative neuromuscular monitoring and reversal of neuromuscular blockade. Anaesthesia: complications and consequences of residual paralysis has been designed and developed by a steering committee of Australian experts in anaesthesia and medical education with input from local and international topic experts.
