To protect the integrity and confidentiality of the information on the Asklepios CME members’ website, we have integrated a range of security features.
Our security design measures include:
• multiple security levels
• enabling-only services that are absolutely required on our systems
• partitioned enabling-only services
• encryption for sensitive data.
Security levels
Asklepios CME members’ website has four levels of security.
• Level 1 protects information at the router which connects the site to the Internet.
• Level 2 protects information at the Internet-visible servers that accept connections directly from the Internet.
• Level 3 involves a firewall which prevents individuals accessing information from this site without authorisation (eg. confines access to registered members and users only).
• Level 4 protects information at the Internet-invisible servers that accept requests from the Internet-visible servers via firewalls.
Security services
To protect all of the security levels from unauthorised access, intrusion or attack from computer hackers, Asklepios CME:
• applies static and dynamic IP security filtering to ensure only correct connections are made between the internet and our site
• enables only services that form part of our product
• partitions our enabling-only services so that a security breach on a lower level does not compromise security at higher levels
• uses the most reliable and secure software to develop and maintain our site content and services
